A Micro Vineyard in The Bellarine - Handcrafted wine, shared personally

Nestled in The Bellarine winegrowing region, Henley Ridge Estate is one of its older micro vineyards, enjoying a long growing season influenced by maritime airs. Our vineyard is tended personally, with each vintage reflecting the quiet patience that defines our small-batch, minimal-intervention winemaking philosophy. The result is handcrafted wine with authenticity at its core, and a cool climate character shaped by our unique terroir.

About the owners

Maintaining a micro vineyard is a passion and passions are meant to be shared. Kate and Gordon focus not only on growing grapes, but on celebrating naturally grown fruits and harvesting them when they are truly ready, not when it’s convenient for market schedules.

Retired from careers in academic and corporate worlds, they have joined forces to bring these experiences to you.

What started with twelve rows of Shiraz planted by Gordon in 2004 has grown into a small-batch, hands-on vineyard shaped by passion, patience, and a desire to share the enjoyment of “vine to bottle” winemaking.
